We Take Responsibility for our Impact on the World around Us
Dansk Wilton sets very high standards for ethics and morals in relation to our customers, our suppliers and our employees. We work strategically with sustainability and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on a daily basis, and it is an integrated part of the way we run our business. For many years, we have worked extensively to reduce our company’s environmental impact, and the cradle-to-cradle mindset characterizes all levels of our activities.

Recycling at Dansk Wilton
80% of the integrated felt backing of our Colortec carpets is based on recycled fibers. All our packing material is based on 100% recycled material (waste from other sources) and can also after use be recycled again 100%. The plastic tube on which the carpet is rolled and the outer packing material is based on recycled lids from plastic bottles, scrap plastic boxes and plastic furniture.

CO² Reduction
Dansk Wilton works actively and constantly to reduce the company’s CO² emissions. Our clear objective is to have all our energy consumption based on renewable energy sources by the end of 2017.
